Violinist
His wealth of activity as a soloist and chamber musician have taken him to play in prestigious concert halls in Europe, EEUU, Russia and Israel. He was a member of the West-Eastern-Divan orchestra directed by Daniel Barenboim. One of the fruits of this collaboration in projects with the maestro Barenboim and the Barenboim-Said Foundation is that Pablo Martos has been invited to carry out tours and give masterclasses in the Middle East.
Founder of Garnati Ensemble, during 2013 he was the artistic director of the Garnati Concert Series that was held in the Theatre of the Caja Granada and which included musicians of great international standing. The recording for Sony Classical of a transcription for string trio of the “Goldberg Variations” has received critical acclaim on numerous occasions by experts.
Pablo appear frequently on the media, where we can find him performing his own music for the Spanish TV or the world premiere of the Conrado del Campo´s string trios.

Alongside, his musical projects to bring classical music closer to a disadvantaged public worked on together with his brother Alberto Martos, have formed a documentary produced by Mercedes Milá and directed by Amparo Mendo; “The Healing Notes”. Amongst numerous awards received for these projects, particular note should be made for the prize The Young of Andalucia for Solidarity 2013. With Garnati Ensemble he has performed at the United Nations in New York, as part of the World Day for Human Rights.
Pablo Martos’ broad musical training stems mainly from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater de Rostock (Germany), where he obtained the qualification of soloist, (Konzertexamen), under the tutorship of Prof. Axel Wilczok. Afterwards he completed a postgraduate at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, studying the Baroque Style, with the maestro Reinhard Goebel. Also worthy of particular mention is the work he did with Prof. Henryk Kowalski at the University of Indiana (USA), and the advice received from figures such as Sir Yehudi Menuhin. His collaboration as a soloist are spread out amongst various European orchestras.
His involvement with contemporary music has seen several different composers dedicate works to him, such as the “Prelude” for solo violin by Juan Cruz Guevara, and the "Concierto para violín" by Juan Miguel Hidalgo. In the realm of chamber music, the "Trío Nº2” with piano (to the Garnati Ensemble) by Juan Cruz Guevara, the trío “Ciudadano Sobra” by Ramón Paús, the duo “Woman at a window” by Jose Luís Greco (dedicated to the Martos Brothers) and the trío "La Catedral de Guadix" by Enrique Rueda (dedicated to the Martos Brothers and A. Valero). In October of 2015 Martos performed the world premiere of “A Take On Sephardic Time”, a violin solo piece by Jose Luis Greco.
